Reliable, great quality socks

I've been wearing this style sock from Smartwool for about 20 years now, in all kinds of conditions from daily office work, backpacking in Colorado, hunting in New Zealand, working in Antarctica. I've occasionally tried other socks, which haven't performed as well - in particular some might feel a little better at the start, but just not hold up over time.

Best Winter Socks around!

On about my 10th pair of these! My last pairs from about 13 years ago have given up the ghost so renewed. Warm, great fit and can wear for a few days as merino & wool mainly they don't smell.
